Dr. Guzman is one of our physicians at the Ryan White Wellness Center. She helps our patients

navigate testing, their treatment, and provides primary care. She is also fully bilingual in

Spanish, and as such is a valuable asset to the Ryan White Wellness Center team, and the

point of contact for our many Spanish-speaking patients. Dr. Guzman received her medical

degree and a Bachelor’s in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences

Campus. She is a board-certified internist with a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases from the

Medical University of South Carolina. She is also AAHIV certified as an HIV specialist and a

waivered MAT provider for Suboxone. Dr. Guzman is driven by empathy and compassion for her

patients. She loves having conversations and ensuring all those she treats feel comfortable and

respected. Previously, Dr. Guzman worked at an FQHC clinic in Myrtle Beach both in HIV and

primary care but wanted to focus more on populations at-risk or living with HIV. She feels

blessed to be living in the “Holy City.” If you’re looking, you might find Dr. Guzman traveling or
