Dining Out for Life®

Dining Out For Life® is an international event of food and fellowship to support HIV care and prevention. Held annually on the last Thursday in April, restaurants, bars and food trucks throughout the Lowcountry donate a percentage of their day’s sales back to our organization. Given the international notoriety, Dining Out For Life® is our largest event and garners the most attention from community members and media outlets.

Art in the City

Are you an art lover? Art in the City is an annual summer art party hosted by Mitchell Hill Gallery that raises HIV awareness and funding to support HIV prevention services. During this family-friendly event, attendees bid on one-of-a-kind artwork (to include canvas paintings, artisan crafts, photography prints, jewelry) by professional and amateur artists while enjoying great music and entertainment, tasty hors d’oeuvres and local libations.

Capers H. Limehouse Humanitarian Award

The Center’s first appointed chaplain, Capers Limehouse, worked tirelessly hosting HIV support groups and visiting hospital-bound patients inspiring them to live healthy, happy lives. Established in 2015, this annual award is presented to a supporter exhibiting a true passion for high quality HIV care and a genuine spirit of respect for those living with HIV. A tribute to our annual honoree is prominently displayed at the Ryan White Wellness Center.

“For your pioneering spirit, genuine heart and continued investment in the cure and lives of people living with HIV/AIDS, we salute you.”
