Fredericka is one of the wellness center’s peer navigators. She works with newly diagnosed patients and those beginning treatment to help them navigate their first steps and understand how to take care of themselves. She received her Master of Science in Education/Career Counseling and minored in Criminal Justice. She was driven to join the Ryan White Wellness Center team by a desire to work with a community organization that has a hugely positive impact on the lives of its patients. She enjoys working with a team of professionals who are as passionate about serving her community as she is. She is a native New Yorker but moved to Charleston to be with her family and to raise her children in a more conducive educational environment. If you’re looking, you might find Fredericka checking out the latest Sci-Fi flick, sewing, or experimenting in the kitchen.
