she/her
Jennifer is an Outpatient Care Manager and sees her role as multi-faceted. “We strive to reduce barriers to healthcare so our patients can focus on staying healthy and living their best lives. We educate, encourage, assess, coordinate needs, provide important reminders and ultimately tailor care toward individual patients as much as possible.” Jennifer earned her master’s degree in social work at USC and a Bachelor of Science degree from CSU. She is licensed to practice social work in SC and has earned a case management certification. Jennifer most enjoys working at our clinic to help patients during some of their most difficult days, while watching their growth as they overcome these challenges over time. In her free time, she is spending time with her children, family and friends - also has a love all things water such as boating, going to the beach and fishing. Jennifer grew up in Hanahan, SC and moved back 9 years ago to raise her daughters and loves the Charleston area! Jennifer was excited to work for Health Services Center from Ryan White’s story that always resonated… also, her biggest goal was to help educate others on the advancements of treatments and accessibility so individuals can start treatment or prevent the virus in the first place. She is driven by treating others the way you would want to be treated, with integrity and respect. Jennifer has been with our clinic 2 years and also celebrated a 9 year anniversary with Roper in August. Her best piece of advice: “It’s a no if you don’t ask”.
