Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.

Jenny Farley

RN, BSN

Post Acute care manager

she/her

Jenny is new to the Health Services Center, but has been an Ambulatory Care Manager here at Roper for almost 5 years. As a Care Manager, she partners with patients to ensure they understand that they are not alone. Whatever their needs, they can work through them together. Jenny is a veteran and got her Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies from the University of the Philippines in the Philippine Islands. She went to school every chance she got and eventually completed her degree with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina. Her favorite thing about Care Management would be empowering patients to take control of their care. In her free time, Jenny loves spending time with her family or relaxing at home with a good movie or favorite TV show. Originally from West Virginia, Jenny came to Charleston to be near the ocean and complete her degree in nursing… 30 years later, she is still here! Jenny wanted to work at our clinic due to her love being a Care Manager and seeing how everyone is values discipline and works together for the good of the patients. Jenny believes in clear communication, respect, and integrity. If she says “I’m going to be there for you”, she will be. Her best piece of advice was given was from her grandmother. She said, “Never give up. Take one more step, then another, until you finally do what you set out to do.”
